This is something that I started play around with the other day, I am not sure where is going or what I am going to do with but just something to play with..
“Kateria, darling can you hear me.” A woman’s voice pulled Kateria through the darkness towards the light.
“Where I am?” Kateria asked barely able to speak.
“She is awakening.” someone called through the darkness and fog.
“Do not try to speak.” A woman with bright red hair said as she put her fingers on Kateria’s lips.
Slowly, Kateria sat up and looked around the room. There were two woman and elderly gentleman sitting around the bed. The one-woman hair was the color of polished copper and eyes the color of bright blue sapphires. The other woman reminded Kateria of somebody’s grandmother. Old and kind looking, someone that she could be trust. The gentlemen acted like a doctor, but Kateria could not get over the feeling that her life was endangered by his presence.
“Where am I?” Kateria repeated trying to focus eyes to the bright light.
“You do not remember anything?” the lady with the bright hair asked Kateria.
“I can not remember.” Kateria said as she started to sob.
“It will be all right, darling, I promise.” The old lady said patting Kateria hands.
“Why…amm…III…unaable…to rememberr.” Kateria pleaded in between sobs.
“You fell and hit your head on the floor.” The old gentleman said as he checked Kateria’s eyes
“Who are you?” Kateria asked them as the gentleman walked over to the desk and started to write on a piece of paper.
“I am your mother.” The bright hair lady said, “Nattie has watched over you and helped care for you since you were born.”
“Who is the gentleman?” Kateria said pointing towards the old gentleman.
“Radnor has been my physician for many years.” The lady said as she moved a piece of hair that had fallen on to Kateria’s face.
“Tell her the rest, Your Majesty.” Radnor said carrying something in his hand.
“Your Majesty.” Kateria said staring at red headed lady.
“Radnor, one day you will go too far.” She seethed at the older man.
“Take two of these with a glass of water.” Radnor instructed as he sat a bottle on the table next to the bed and walked out of the room.
“My name is Kyra Rahima, Queen of Vastra.” Mother said as she took Kateria’s hand, “You are Princess Kateria of Vastra.”
“A princess?” Kateria asked as she suddenly collapsed on the bed.
"Radnor, what is wrong." The Queen demanded amazed at how weak her daughter seemed.
"It is a side effect of the fall, Your Majesty." Radnor said as he motion the two women out the door, "Let the Princess rest and she will be fine in no time."
"Your Majesty," a guard said bowing to the Queen, "Lord General Nairn and Sir Chalmer are in your private sitting room."
"If there is any change let me know immediately." The Queen said as she walked towards her private rooms.
"Nattie make sure that the Princess take this when she awakes it will help her with the pain." Radnor said handing her small vial of powder, “Mix it in with her water.”
“Anything to help my poppit get better.” Nattie said as took the vial and set it on table by the bed.
The Queen Private Sitting Room
“Do we know what happen to the Princess?” Lord Nairn asked as he and Sir Chalmer awaited the Queen.
“Nothing, we do not even know if she was attacked or if she fell,” Sir Chalmer said hate the fact that somebody was plot against them and until they has more information there is nothing else that they could to protect the Princess.
“What about Princess Katrina,” Lord Nairn asked, “can not she tell us who attacked her?”
“It is not widely know,” Chalmer said lowering his voice, “but do to her injuries Princess Katrina has lost all of her memories.”
“The poor child,” Lord Nairn exclaimed as the Queen entered the room.
“What news do you have for me gentleman?” Queen Kyra said as the two gentlemen stood and bow as the Queen sat down.
“None of our source have been able to find anything news about what happened to the princess.” Sir Chalmer said as the Queen motioned them to be seated.
“My son will be here at the end of the month,” Lord Nairn said, “He should have information from our foreign contacts, hopeful one of them will have information on any plots against us.”
“Gentleman, I thank you for concern,” Queen Kyra said as she sighed before turning the conversation toward matters of state, “What new do you have for me on the treaty negations with Alame?”
“The King refuses to sign any treaty that does not include Princess Katrina hand in marriage to Prince Unwyn.” Sir Chalmer said knowing the Queen’s feeling on this matter, as well as their own dislike for the prince.
“I will not allow my daughter to be used as a pawn in some treaty,” the Queen raged, “And who does he think he is dictating to the Queen of Vastra.”
“I assured him that the Princess will not be apart of any treaty and that she had already rejected his proposal.” Chalmer stated still feeling distaste for having to deal with the man.
“Let us hope that Kieran will have some good news for us.” Lord Nairn said as he pours a goblet of wine for the Queen, “The Lion’s Pride should reach us by the end of the month, without any delays.”
“What if we were to inform King Archelau that the Princess had recently accepted a proposal of marriage that would remove one of his main arguments to our treaty?” Chalmer suggested as Sir Phlelan entered the room standing guard at the door.
“Sir Chalmer, who are you planning on marrying my daughter too?” The Queen asked as Lord Nairn suddenly smile, “And Nairn what about this do you find so amusing?”
“Forgive me Your Majesty, I think I know what Sir Chalmer is suggesting and I think I know the perfect Fiancé for the princess.” Nairn said with a hint of mischief in his smile.
“Explain yourselves, now.” The Queen demanded staring at the two men.
“Allow me to explain Your Majesty,” Sir Chalmer said, “If we engage to the princess to someone we know just until the king signs the treaty and then after his party as left, we announce that the engagement has been called off, but would like to know who Lord Nairn thinks would be perfect for the part.”
“I was think that this would be good chance the place a guard close Princess Kateria without her attackers realizing it,” Nairn said as he paused before mentioning a name, “I was thinking that my son Kieran would be a good choice.”
“Was there something that you wanted to say Sir Phelan?” Sir Chalmer asked notice the disbelieving look on the face of the head of the royal guard.
“Most of the Court is aware of how Princess Kateria and Kieran feel about each other,” Phelan said, “gossip would quickly reach the King and prince that the princess has mention on more than one occasion that she would greatly pity to the poor female trap with him for life.”
“Then they will have to be very convincing,” Nairn said then frowned, “what are we going to tell the princess, she can not know that this is not real.”
“If we tell the princess that the engagement is a long standing one then we might just let it stand until her regains her memory.” Sir Chalmer said quite pleased with how things turned out.
“Lord Nairn, how do you know that your son will go along with this plan,” the Queen said as she considered the plan, “It could be months before Kateria regains her memory.”
“You need not worry, My Queen, my son would be honor to be the Princess’ Fiancés.” Nairn reassured the Queen, as Phelan shook his head.
The Lion’s Pride
“We should reach Vastra by the end of the month.” Botolf, the first mate said as he entered the Captain’s quarter to find his friend and captain staring at the reports across his desk. His blonde head studying the same reports for the last couple of days, “and rereading the reports are not going to get us there any quicker.”
“I know the answer is here some where I just can’t see it.” Kieran said throwing the reports down on to the desk before turn his attention on his first mate.
“It is curious how upset you have been about over this,” Botolf said with a smirk, “considering the person who was injury is the same person whom you refer to as Icy.”
“Just because the princess and I do not get along,” Kieran said scowling at his friend, “does not mean that I want her harmed and I care greatly for the Queen, this must be very upsetting for her.”
“Sure you are just worry about the Queen,” Botolf teased as he walked towards the cabin door, “This has nothing to do with the fact that Princess Kateria is considered the most beautiful woman in the world.”
“You have never met the princess,” Kieran agrued as they surived the men working the main deck, “I pity the poor man who ends up with her, he will end his days

This is my baby, the story that I have been play around with the longest. I have created the Characters, the lands, and the history. So here it is --
The sun had sunk low in the evening sky when a hooded figure moved quickly though the shadows of Castle Catamore, staying in the shadows and moving unseen, working its way towards the dungeon. The figure stopped only for a moment to avoid the guards on duty in the dungeon before finally reaching the end of the corridor. Placing a hand on a star-shaped stone the center of the wall, it caused a sidewall to swing open and reveal a darkened passageway leading deeper into the bowels of the castle. The figure continued slowly, following the twists and turns of the passage for what seemed like hours, until finally the passage opened into a secret room. The figure slowly crept into the room, waiting for the woman in front of the altar to finish her prayer.
“What news do you bring me of our plans?” the woman in a long red dress said kneeing in front of an altar of the pagan god Damnagon.
“All goes according to the plan.” the figure said, bowing as the lady stood up. “Prince Darius and his companions left early this morning for his visit to Javiren.”
“Were you there when they left?” the lady questioned as she moved toward the pool of water in the middle of the room.
“No, they left far too early in the morning for me to see them off,” the figure said removing the hood to reveal Princess Seraphina. As she shook out her long straight blonde hair, her eyes slowly changed from the deep emerald green of the royal family of Catamore to purest black.
“Yes, and it will be even more upsetting for you when your brother is found dead,” the lady said with an evil smile on her beautiful face, waving a hand over the pool causing it to shimmer.
“It will sadden me greatly to take his place as heir to the throne,” Seraphina said with a laugh moving to stand next to the woman by the pool. “Father wants you to make sure that the attack happens in Catalin. He plans to use my dear brother’s death as a reason to declare war on Lord Kalmore.”
“All will be taken care of,” the lady said as the water in the pool started to glow red. “Just remind your father that he must make sure all of the Elves are destroyed.”
“It shall be as you ask,” Seraphina assured the lady as the pool glowed, causing the image of the Prince and his companions appear and their voices filled the room.
“How long will it take to reach the Katana Mountains?” Prince Darius asked as they sat around the campfire.
“It should take us about a month to the mountains and another three days to make it over to the pass,” Captain Blaise, the head of the Prince’s personal guard, said.
“We have to rough it for a month,” a tall man with blonde hair complained. “Dar, you seemed to forget to mention that when you told me about this trip.”
“That is Lord Indigo – they have been friends since childhood,” Seraphina explained to the lady. “Don’t let his complaining fool you. He is one of the best archers in the kingdom.”
“Don’t listen to him, Dar,” a man with brown hair said with a smile. “He is just going soft in his old age.”
“And that loudmouth would be Lord Kiev, one of the most sought-after bachelors in the kingdom,” Seraphina said with a look of disdain. “He is one of the best fighters next to my brother.”
“It will take another month after we clear the pass to reach Javiren,” said Ambassador Jadvier, a member of King Sul of Javiren’s court.
“Kiev can’t be gone from the court for that long,” Indigo said. “In two months’ time all of his girlfriends will realize that they are better off without him.”
“Enough, you two, we have a long way to go. Save some of that for later,” Captain Blaise said, ending the conversation before an argument started between the two. “I think that we had better turn in for the night. I have guards posted so there should not be any problems tonight.”
“Great, our first trip as adults and what do you to do?” Darius said shaking his head at the others. “You get us sent to bed for fighting.”
“We are twenty years old,” Kiev reasoned. “Why do we have to go to bed when he tells us?”
“If you want to go back there and tell him that, go right ahead,” Indigo said as they entered their tent. “I, for one, do not think that it is a good idea to argue with the man who can easily beat the crap out of us. Remember, he has trained us since we were kids – and we will always be kids to him.”
“Forget it, lets get some rest,” Darius said as they turned in for the night, the image in the pool slowly fading away.
“Inform your father that we will attack them before they reach the mountain pass,” the woman said, walking over to a shelf on the wall.
“He needs to cross over the pass to be in Catalin,” Seraphina said. “If he is killed here, then the plan will not work.”
“It does not matter where he is killed. What matters is where his body is found,” the woman explained, pulling a bottle off the shelf before returning to the pool.
She poured the silver liquid into the pool, causing it to change to a sickly green color. As she held her hand over the pool and chanted in Ancient Kahara, suddenly a goblin started to form in the pool. Seraphina recoiled in disgust at the ugly creature that had suddenly appeared before them. Beside the goblin stood another creature that Seraphina had never seen before. It looked like a goblin but it was completely gray.
“What is your wish, my mistress?” the goblin asked as the two creatures bowed.
“In one month’s time, Prince Darius’ party will be at the base of the Katana Mountains,” the lady said. “I want their bodies found in Catalin and they are to be killed by elfin bows.”
“As you wish,” the goblin said, “but we will need weapons.”
“They will be delivered to you,” Seraphina said, looking at the two creatures with disdain as they slowly dissolved.
“You need to leave now,” the lady said as she turned back toward the altar.
“I will bring you word if anything changes,” Seraphina said, putting on her hood and disappearing down the passageway.
“Soon, my Lord,” the lady said looking at the statue on the altar. “Soon you will be returned to us and all will suffer.”
